Monday March 25, 1680 (Feast of the Annunciation), Catherine Tekakwitha’s vow of perpetual virginity was renewed. Catherine Tekakwitha died in odour of sanctity on Holy Wednesday April 17, 1680 from pneumonia, after the description of her Holy Death by the Jesuit Missionary. Catherine Tekakwitha’s last words before her Holy Death were, “Jesus! Mary!” After her death her face had suddenly transfigured and became so beautiful, smiling and white with an appearance of a rosy colour, which she never had and her features were not the same. Catherine Tekakwitha consumed her life repeating these words three times, “Jesus, I love you.” Catherine Tekakwitha was buried on Thursday April 18, 1680.

Lundi, le 25 mars 1680 (Fête de l’Annonciation), Catherine Tekakwitha renouvela son vœu de virginité perpétuelle. Catherine Tekakwitha mourut en odeur de sainteté le mercredi saint, le 17 avril 1680, d’une pneumonie, d’après la description de sa sainte morte du missionnaire jésuite. Les derniers mots de Catherine Tekakwitha avant sa morte fut, “Jésus! Marie!” Après sa mort son visage soudainement fut transfiguré et devint si beau, souriant et blanc avec une apparence de couleur vermeille qu’elle n’avait jamais eu et ses traits n’étaient pas les mêmes. Catherine Tekakwitha consuma sa vie à répéter trois fois ces mots, “Jésus, je vous aime.” Catherine Tekakwitha fut enterrée le jeudi, 18 avril 1680.
