1675 Jacques de Lamberville departed for Québec, at the age of 35.

Jacques Frémin left for France in the autumn 1679, and returned October 1680, Father Pierre Cholenec replaced him during his absent as Superior of the Mission.

Jacques Bruyas, in the winter of 1693, was still in charge of the Mission Saint François-Xavier at Kahnawakon.

1700 : Pierre Cholenec was Superior of the Jesuit Resident, in Montréal.

Suppression of the Society of Jesus:
1773 (1783, the Jesuits left the Mission) → 1814 (1842, the Jesuits returned to Canada); 1903, the Jesuits were given back into their hands, the Mission Saint François-Xavier in Kahnawake.
