	Canada Post issued a postage stamp of Catherine Tekakwitha on the commemoration of having been beatified on Sunday June 22, 1980. The date of issue was Friday April 24, 1981. The quantity printed was 11,825,000. The stamp was designed by Laurent Marquart and based on a sculpture of Catherine Tekakwitha (1954) by Jean-Émile Brunet, and
presently is above the entrance to the Catherine School in Kahnawake.
